Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a CNC lathe lathe. It’s simple to turn, although it requires slower speeds. I use this stuff to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have ordered many items from iPlastic. The smaller pieces usually ship promptly and everything was well packed. I’ve never had a problem with an order.
Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are very durable and easily machinable, and they have very similar physical properties.
